2010년 전통의 대중화를 지향하며 창단한 '티안'은 기량이 뛰어난 아티스트들을 중심으로 전통 타악을 계승 발전하는 drum performance 그룹이다.
2010 '전주'소리축제 국내 아티스트로 초청 받았고 세계태권도대회 개막식 등 국내 대형 축제 개막식에 초청되어 축제를 빛내기도 한 '티안'은 빠르게 변화되는 전통 음악계에 타악의 한 장르를 이끌어가는 선구자 역할을 하고 있다.
한가지 장르에 국한하지 않고 다방면에 개성을 살린 새로운 방식의 활동으로 관객을 폭 넓게 만나고 다양한 교류를 통해 서로 마음을 연결해주고 진심을 전달 할 수 있는 음악적 능력을 개발하여 ‘티안’만의 음악 장르를 추구하고 있다.
